Time
:
9:00am – 5:15pm
Venue
:

Theme
Safety engineering endeavors to reduce the frequency of failures, and ensure that when failures do occur, the consequences are not serious and no harm to anyone. In this regard, key disciplines or teams can use several types of analyses to identify hazards, validate hazards and verify design assesses and if needed to specify new safety features and procedures to mitigate risk strategically. In fact, they all involve skills and mindset of the participants during implementation, thus trainings would be necessary so as to ease the challenges put on them.

The Symposium will provide a platform for distinguished guests and experts in various sectors to bring along some innovative ideas on mindset change and technology embrace in safety engineering, and thus to reduce the chance of accidents so as to foster a better and safer environment.
