Operation and Maintenance for
Swimming Pools, Water Parks, Spa Pools, and Water Features
Background
In view of the recent fast development of recreation facilities, and
highly concern of human health in relate to the hygiene standards of the
water in contact with human being. The Institute finds the demand from
the members, who wish to know, what kind of waters that need to be
attended, what kind of standard calling from which authorities, how many
systems that can serve these purposes, what kind of equipment that can
help the systems. The Institute is inviting experience personals in the
industry to share their opinions.
This
is an extension of the seminar of last year, regarding the Filtration
and Sterilisation Systems for Water Features and Swimming Pools,
completed with the Latest Technology of Spa and Water Park. Operation
and Maintenance shall be the theme of this seminar.
Objectives
This is to provide an opportunity for the members and personnel in this
industry to refresh their knowledge and to attract the young generation
to joint this industry.
This is an opportunity to review the process to extend the life of equipment of the systems.
This is a reply to attendants of last seminar about the operation and maintenance of ozone generator.
Course Structure
The following topics will be covered in this course:
1) The importance of proper Operation and Maintenance of Ozone Generator;
(and the latest development and application of it in Europe)
2) The importance of proper Operation and Maintenance of the captioned systems;
3) The Preventive Maintenance;
4) The regular maintenance;
5) The overhaul service; &
6) Emergency services
Target Participants
This course is designed for practitioners in the field of Plumbing
& Drainage, including engineers, supervisors, managers and other
technical executives, who need to monitor, operate, and maintain the
filtration and sterilisation systems of the captioned pools.
Entrance Requirements
Applicant who should possess a Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma in
Engineering / Building Studies / Construction related discipline is
preferable but is not compulsory.

Total 6 hours training in two Saturday afternoon
