Nepal Trekking EBC/Gokyo Chola Pass/Kalapattar

Nepal Trekking EBC/Gokyo Chola Pass/Kalapattar

This trip includes many magnificent views of Everest Region. The trail leads to the Gokyo lakes and Gokyo Valley. The trek to Gokyo is tremendously wounderful. For the best view you can see from the summit of Gokyo Ri, the small view point peak above the lake which provides the Panoramic view of Cho-Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Gyanchung Kang, Makalu, Cholatse and Tawachee and several lakes in Gokyo Valley. Then the way takes you to the Dzongla. You can make a challenging trip across the Cho La pass to the Lobuche village. The pass is not difficult, but it is steep and involves the glacier crossing even ice axe and crampons are needed for arranging the small icefall of the pass. Sometimes rocky stones are falling down. The way leads up to the kalapattar via Lobuche and trek to Everest base camp and decend down to Namche bazar.
