Event Overview

Vanke Research Base is located in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China. In the Research Base, there are different research centres for investigating different advanced green construction techniques. One of research centres is the Vanke's Equipment Tower, it is the first in China and the highest Tower in the world for systematic experiment of housing facilities with a total height of 123 meters consisting of 38 floors above ground. The completion of the experiment tower provides a base in China for testing the system performance of housing facilities. It provides a housing facilities system certification centre in China and provides an experiment basis for formulating facility standard. Experiments for performance of drainage stack are main theme for the tower. On the top of the tower, wind turbines are installed for wind energy collection.

In the Research Base, there are building facilities consisting of precast elements and various types of solar energy collection devices. The Zero Carbon Centre in the base shows different research applications for wind, heat, light, water engineering.

Note for Registration

• Seat limited to 40 numbers, register on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Duly completed application form accompanied by payment receipt / cheque, together with the copy of 2015 membership card, email to info@ciphe.org.hk . or fax to 2417 9719.
• Application deadline: 10 April 2015 (Friday) 12:00pm
• Registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and should be received by CIPHE-HKB no later than 10 April 2015.
• Successful applicants will be notified no later than 3 working days before the commencement of the technical visit.
• Unsuccessful applicants will be given refund of registration fees if they have already paid.
• The technical visit will be cancelled with full refund when the typhoon signal no.8 or above, or black storm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the technical visit commences.
• An official receipt will be distributed to the participant upon the completion of the seminar.
• CIPHE-HKB reserves the right not to conduct the technical visit if the applications are below the required minimum number of participants and all registration fees received will be refunded.
• Walk-in application will not be entertain and accept.
• Information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to third party.
• All decisions made by CIPHE-HKB on matters related to the seminars are final.

Certification

CPD Certificate of Attendance is awarded to each attendee.
