Program Highlights
REACH Satellite Earth Station, located at Stanley Peninsular behind the army site, serves as a major Satellite Earth Station to serve Hong Kong since 1969. It is the largest Teleport in Asia consisting of more than 30 antennae range from 4.5 to 30 meters for international telecommunication purpose.
The Stanley Earth Station is connected to the Hong Kong gateway facilities with redundant fibre networks. With this redundant facility, reliable international services such as Telephone, Internet, Data and Television/Video could be provided.
Itinerary
1. Familiarization with question and answer of satellite communication in the visit center
2. Tour around outdoor and antenna facility
3. Visits the master control room and facilities in the main building
