IFMA Hong Kong Chapter has invited the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to present to our members a LEED webinar on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
Program Highlights
1. What is LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance?
2. The value of LEED to your organization
3. Things you can do right now to get started
4. Case studies
LEED is the most widely recognized and widely used green building program across the globe, with projects in over 140 countries and 140,000 square meters certified every day. LEED for Existing Buildings was created to improve the way that buildings are operated and maintained over time, and to verify environmental performance. International landmark Class A assets, including the Empire State Building in New York, Taipei 101, and Two IFC in Hong Kong, have used LEED for Existing Buildings to guide reductions in energy, water and maintenance costs, and improvements in occupant wellbeing. Global corporations recognize the value and consistency of LEED, and building owners and operators have used LEED certification to attract top tenants.
